Programs for 2 to 4 year old children:

Per Week

• Two half day academic preschool 

                            9:00am-12:00pm

• Three half day academic preschool

                            9:00am-12:00pm

• Five half day academic preschool

                            9:00am-12:00pm

• Five full day academic preschool

                            9:00am-3:00pm

• Five full day academic preschool plus Before/After School Program

                            6:45am-6:00pm

Before and After School Programs

    Bethesda Child Development Center serves children in MOT Charter School and the following schools in the Appoquinimink School District: Appoquinimink Early Childhood Center, Silver Lake Elementary, Townsend Early Childhood Center and Townsend Elementary School.

    Before school programs begin at 6:45 am with the exception of Townsend Early Childhood Center which opens at 6:30am.  This site also accepts children from Townsend Elementary School at this time.

  The before and after school program offers homework time and assitance, a provided afternoon snack, themed art activities, free time, outside time and physical activities.  Bethesda has partnered with Nemours and participates in the CATCH Kids Club which encourages physical activities and healthy eating.
